Organisers Steve and Mary Maclennan have created a Strathdearn Funday Facebook page where you can view and post photos and videos of the 2017 event. Visit https://www.facebook.com/strathdearnfunday/ to bring those memories flooding back!
Steve and Mary are keen to know whether the community would like the Funday to become a regular event, and if so how often. Every year? Every two years? They posted a questionaire on the facebook page where you can give your views and suggestions. The questionaire will also be included with the August Strathdearn Newsletter which is distributed to every household. Please leave your feedback and help decide the future of this great family day out.
Following the success of the 2017 Funday in Strathdearn school playing field, the
About 200 people turned up at Tomatin Primary school for the first Strathdearn Funday. The sun shone, cabers were tossed, wet sponges went splat, and everybody had a great time.
Congratulations to everybody who contributed to make it such a great day, and particularly to Steve Maclennan for organising it all.
Here's Steve taking stock of the situation and soaking up the atmosphere.
It won't be long now. Strathdearn's first Funday will be held in the grounds of Strathdearn Primary School from 11.00 am - 3.00 pm on Saturday 3rd June. There's are many stalls and lots to do for all ages, so be sure to come along early.
