Labour numbers on site are lower than usual due to holidays.

The blockwork forming the stair enclosure has been completed and the fireproof cap has been built. The perimeter of the capping has now been fire sealed to the viewing gallery side. The meeting room side remains to be fire stopped. Still the case.

Diagonal bracing remains to be completed in the main hall.

Roof slating, snow boards, Solar PV and solar hot water panels have been completed.

Wall cladding is complete with window seals and timber ingos to be fitted. The upper level boards have been overcoated and the finish is looking far more even. Grilles have been installed over the smaller plenum boxes.

Now that the scaffold has been dropped on the West elevation numerous paint runs on the low level narrow cladding boards can be seen. These will have to be flattened and re coated. Discussed with Chud and Archie on site who are aware and steps will be taken to make good

Wall panels are being insulated in the corridor and main hall, The ceiling of the youth room has been sheeted. Some gaps between sheets are excessive. Ensure plasterboard sheets have been butted tight together.

Main hall and access corridor plasterboarding is ongoing. Check fixing centres at sheets on ceilings. Should be 230mm generally and at 150mm centers at board ends.

Gutter and RWP installations have been completed to West elevation.

Recent heavy rain has identified 2 leaks from the opening sashes of the recently installed roof lights. 1 in the hall and one in the corridor. Compass are making contact with the manufacturer to notify them and get a resolution.
