Mobile Library
Highlife Mobile Library Service visits Tomatin every fourth Wednesday. Here are the dates for 2026:
March 11th, April 8th, May 6th, June 3rd, July 1st, July 29th, August 26th, September 23rd, October 21st, November 18th, December 16th
There are also posters in the shop and on Tomatin noticeboard. We’ll let you know of alterations or cancellations via this website and Strathdearn Facebook Group page.
- 09:50am – lay by at Viaduct
- 10:00am – Strathdearn Primary School (currently by appointment only)
- 10:30am – car park at Strathdearn Sports and Events Venue
- 11:15am – top of Juniper Drive
- 11:30am – car park at Distillery Cottages

Community Fun Run:
Are you up for the challenge?
Join us for the SCD Community Fun Run – 10K / 5K in aid of MND Scotland, held in honour of Jimmy Duncan, a true community gem.
All funds raised will support MND Scotland.
Route:
We’ll be following the same route as last year!
10K: Starts at The Strathdearn, up to Balvraid Estate, and back.
5K: Starts at The Strathdearn – run, jog, or walk at your own pace!
Saturday 23rd May 2026
Registration: From 10:30 AM at The Strathdearn
Start Time: 11:00 AM
All participants will receive a t-shirt (optional) and running number.
After the run, enjoy burgers and soft drinks back at The Strathdearn!
Entry Fee:
IV13 Residents: Adults £15 | Children £5
Non-IV13: Adults £20 | Children £10
(Includes t-shirt and post-run burger & drink)
