A course member and noted local historian, Ann Glynne-Percy, disclosed a comprehensive portfolio of photographs she had taken of local sites of historical, cultural and archaeological interest.
As part of the ARCH project these photographs were digitised by Dick Sanger and annotated by a small group including Susan, Ann Glynne-Percy and Carol James. These photographs form the basis for this interactive map.
An ongoing initiative by David and Kathy Bonniface, Carol James and others, aims to update this portfolio with up-to-date photographs and information on the sites. This has proved to be slow work, underlining just what a massive achievement Ann Glynne-Percy’s work was.
