A9 DUALLING –TOMATIN TO MOY

PUBLICATION OF MADE ORDERS

Transport Scotland published the Tomatin to Moy draft Compulsory Purchase Order, draft Road Orders and associated Environmental Statement in May 2018. Subsequently, a number of objections were received to the draft Orders. A Public Local Inquiry (PLI) was due to be held in August 2019, but the remaining objectors agreed to rest on written submissions. After which, in October 2019, the reporter provided a report with recommendations to the Scottish Ministers.

Scottish Ministers published their decision to proceed with the Tomatin to Moy scheme in February 2020. This positive decision enables Transport Scotland to progress the scheme to publication of the Made Orders. Transport Scotland published the Made Orders for the Tomatin to Moy scheme on 26th February 2021.

In accordance with the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020, the proposed hard copy Orders and Plans will not be available for inspection at public display locations.

A copy of the Orders and Plans can be viewed on the Transport Scotland website at:
