Scoping Report and Figures – April 2021

SCC Meeting – 7.30pm, 12-04-22, in The Strathdearn and by Zoom,

Bridget says:
“Our next community council meeting will be on Tuesday the 12th of April at 7.30.  As you will all be aware it is a while since we have been able to meet so we have quite a full agenda.   We are going to meet in person but we will set up a Zoom meeting as well so that those who are not able to join in person can join us remotely.  I’m having a bit of trouble with the ZOOM login so the zoom link will follow once I am over my technical hitch! “

Broadband Update 01/04/22

Another section gone live! Here’s a map and list of properties which can now access download speeds of up to 900Mb/sec. The owners can order FTTP broadband when their present contracts expire or ask their service provider for an immediate upgrade.
Openreach are currently working in the area from White Lodge towards Balvriad Lodge. They will have around 11 premises ready to order early next week and we’ll share the details then.
With regards to the village and the Distillery area, Openreach hope to start works here over the coming weeks with their build partners. We’ll keep you posted.
Openreach have asked us to pass on their thanks to the community for their patience and understanding whilst they have undertaken the build works.
