Dear Member,
You are invited to attend the upcoming AGM due to be held in the The Strathdearn Hub on Thursday 3rd February 2022 7.00pm. We will be giving you an update on what the company has been doing in the last year and how a number of the projects are progressing followed by a Q and A session. Business will include:
– the appointment of new directors. Any ordinary member can be nominated to stand by two other ordinary members and we would like to encourage applications to ensure a wide base of experience on the Board. Should the number of valid nominations exceed the number of positions available, the candidates will be chosen by ballot on the evening. The nomination form can be downloaded HERE and completed forms can be returned by email or posted using the address on the form. The final date they must be received by is Thursday 27th January 2022
– getting approval for the final group accounts for Strathdearn Community Developments for 2021. An overview of the financial activities for both the charity and the trading company in the year will also be presented at the meeting. View draft accounts HERE.
– approving the minutes from the previous AGM. View minutes HERE.
Due to the one year expiry date on proxy voting forms, any ordinary members wishing to vote but who are unable to attend the meeting would need to submit a new proxy voting form which can be obtained from the Company Secretary for return by 1st February 2022.
