Art in Strathdearn celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year! We welcome members from the local community and beyond to enjoy the mutual support and encouragement engendered amongst like minded people.
We meet in the village hall on Thursdays from 2pm – 4pm ( spring & summer times) working on individual projects but sometimes as a group -producing for example the painted glass panels in the entrance to the Millennium Hall.
We have a number of tutors throughout the year chosen to inspire and inform. Topics this year include Charcoal Portraiture, Basket Weaving and Driftwood Sculpture. Craft workshops are included to appeal to those who prefer working with materials rather than more painterly mediums.
Our annual Exhibition in August is an established and popular event in the village calendar – a showcase for our accomplishments.
