Section 1 – Project Details

A full accounting of grant expenditure will be kept along with any receipts and invoices. In addition, a report may be required from the awardee detailing the success of the project. Either or both of these will be made available to the administrator of the trust within 14 days from request.

Please note that applicants to the Trust are strongly encouraged to be present at the Community Council (CC) meeting where their application is being discussed so they can answer any related questions prior to the CC making a decision. If the applicant cannot be present, this decision will likely be deferred to a later meeting.

At the discretion of the Trustees, those who have made applications recommended for approval by the CC may be requested to attend a meeting of the Board of Trustees to provide further information.

(g) the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science,
(h) the advancement of public participation in sport,
(i) the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended,
(j) the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation,
(k) the promotion of religious or racial harmony,
(l) the promotion of equality and diversity,
(m) the advancement of environmental protection or improvement,
(n) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage,
(o) the advancement of animal welfare,
(p) any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
