Amey, who run the North East Scotland Gritter Fleet, sent the following invitation to SCC:

The 2025/26 competition to submit inventive & fun names for our North East Scotland gritter fleet is now OPEN to everyone.
You can submit your entries at the below link until Friday 19th December:
Can you match Den-ice Law, Clearopathra or Thaw: God of Thunder
Our vehicles, in their distinctive bright orange livery, are a regular sight on the north east trunk roads during winter and your name could be emblazoned on the side of one!
