Balfour Beatty is inviting members of the public to learn more about their plans for dualling the A9 between Tomatin and Moy at their Met the Contractor events.
Meet key project staff members, explore an exhibition about the works and learn more about the benefits the project will deliver during construction and beyond.
What to expect…
We are really looking forward to getting started on this exciting project and, in addition to providing you with lots of useful information about what to expect over the next few years from the works, we also want to celebrate the project commencing with the local community.
With that in mind, we have planned a few extra activities for the Tomatin event that will hopefully provide some fun for all the family.
Between 3pm and 7pm, the following activities will be taking place at the Strathdearn Community Hub:
- Ecology and bird boxes Meet our ecologists from Ellendale Environmental, learn about what they do, try some of their equipment and build a bird box for your garden.
- STEM activities Our digital and technology team will have some of our VR equipment for you to try and will explain how we use this equipment on the project. We will also have PPE to try on and the chance to build your own mini bridges!
- Food, fun and face painting! Our friends at the Hub cafe are cooking up a few treats with free soup, cakes and hot and cold drinks and face painting between 3pm and 6pm.
