fight fluThis year’s flu clinic will be held in the Strathdearn Hall on Wednesday 7th November 10.30 till 12 noon l

THERE ARE IMPORTANT CHANGES THIS YEAR:

We have just been informed by NHS Highland that there are 3 ADULT vaccines this year, and which you receive depends on the patient’s age.

Patients registered with Doctors in Inverness Medical Practices:  Unlike previous years, the nurse administering the jabs to the patients with Inverness doctors will not have a supply of vaccines – they are given on a named basis from the GP practice.  Patients with Inverness doctors also need to advise  me their GP practice and that they wish to have their flu jab at the Tomatin Flu Clinic and we will request their vaccine from their GP practice beforehand so that the nurse doing the flu jabs will be able to collect these on the day and bring the vaccines to the flu clinic.

IF I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO YOU ALREADY CAN YOU PLEASE CALL ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU ARE REGISTERED WITH AN INVERNESS PRACTICE AND WOULD LIKE YOUR VACCINE  ADMINISTERED AT THE FLU CLINIC ON 7th NOVEMBER AS WE NEED TO ORDER YOUR VACCINE FROM YOUR SURGERY .
