Elle Adams and Guy Harris came along to the July SCC meeting to update us on their work for the Findhorn Watershed Initiative. Here’s a summary of the project taken from their website:
“The Findhorn Watershed Initiative is a multi-generational landscape-scale vision to restore a mosaic of nature-rich habitats, inspire a local culture of nature connection, and enable a thriving nature-based economy across 1300km² of the Scottish Highlands.
From the source to the sea of the River Findhorn, our aim is to foster a broad range of ecological, social, cultural, and economic benefits.”
