Urgent – We are in imminent danger of losing our council

I have received the information that Strathdearn CC has not had enough nominations to form a new council. Unless there are at least 4 nominations by 12 noon on Tuesday 3rd October Strathdearn Community Council will be dissolved at midnight on 10th October. There will be NO COUNCIL to take your concerns to The Highland Council or any other body, and work will stop on any discussions we are having now. PLEASE, if you value the work the CC does for the community, put yourself forward. All the details can be found on The Highland Council website

If the CC does not form there will be an election in March next year, almost six months away, but how will the community manage for that length of time without a council? Please don’t let that happen.
