As things stand, Strathdearn will lose its council in 2 days time.

STRATHDEARN COMMUNITY COUNCIL urgently needs nominations for new councillors if it is to be re-formed after dissolution next month.

Who will contact The Highland Council about the potholes and safe routes to school? Who will liaise with the developers of the proposed wind farm at Balnespick? Who will receive information about the progress of the A9 dualling project? No-one, if there is no community council. We can’t have a council if there are no nominations.

Please, put yourself forward by mid-day on Tuesday 3rd October and ensure that the CC can re-form in the next few weeks. It would be great news for everyone if at least 4 of you do so. If no-one comes forward the community will have to wait for the next election which will not take place until March 2024. All the details for this election are on this web page:
