SCC has received a presentation from Transport Scotland describing plans to duel the A9 between Tomatin and Moy. The following points are detailed:
- 9.6km (6 mile) section of the A9 upgraded to dual carriageway
- 33km (20 miles) of continuous dual carriageway south of Inverness once complete
- New Grade-Separated Junction at Tomatin
- Four new Left-in/Left-out junctions
- New structures including crossings over and under the Highland Main Line Railway
