Dear Community Council Members and Community Representatives,
We are pleased to share the first episode of the Balnespick Wind Farm podcast, featuring project managers Kelly Thacker and Lynva Forrest.
The podcast has been created as an additional way to keep local residents informed about the proposed development, explain how the project has evolved, and provide an opportunity for the community to hear directly from members of the project team.
You can listen to Episode 1 here:
We would be grateful if you could share the podcast with your members, networks and local communities.
We are also inviting members of the community to submit questions, comments or observations about the proposed Balnespick Wind Farm via a voice note.
Selected recordings may be featured in a future podcast episode, where members of the project team will respond directly to community questions and feedback.
A guidance note explaining how to record and submit a voice note is attached. Voice notes should:
- Be no longer than one minute
- Include your name and where you are from
- Contain any questions, comments or concerns you would like the project team to address
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, 10 June 2026.
Please note that by submitting a voice note, you are confirming that you are happy for Fred. Olsen Renewables to use and broadcast all or part of your recording in connection with the Balnespick Wind Farm podcast and associated project communications. We ask that contributors do not include any personal information that they would not wish to be made public.
We welcome a wide range of views and would encourage anyone with an interest in the project to take part.
With many thanks and best wishes,
Suzanne
