The idea behind it is simple – food brings us all together, and it’s a great way to get children interested in nature, where food comes from, and the outdoors.
We’ve planted an edible hedge with a mix of hazel, hawthorn, elder, wild cherry, blackthorn, crab apple and dog rose. As it grows, it will become a fantastic food source for wildlife while also providing benefits for us too.
To keep it protected from nibbling and give it a good start we had Davy, (JB Maclean & Son Fencing Contractors) fence it off, thanks Davy, great job!
