Ann’s grandparents were the owners of Tomatin Estate and after her father died when she was a girl her mother returned to Tomatin where her parents were. She lived at the Cottage of Free and grew up during WW2. She tells of the village in great detail  as it was at that time and in the years afterwards, how folk coped with the difficulties but also of the war efforts too.

Topics cover rationing, characters of all kinds, special events and estate history but most of all giving a picture of the community as it was in those days.
